Liguori is one of the oldest pasta companies in Italy and the world, founded in 1795 by Gaetano Liguori in Gragnano.
Renowned for its quality since its inception, Liguori was the pasta maker responsible for supplying the royal household during the 19th century.
The Liguori family has long been recognized as a prominent family in the Gragnano region due to its social and political commitment.
Thanks to this standing, Liguori championed Gragnano’s status as a benchmark city for pasta production; in 2013, the European Commission awarded PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status to Pasta di Gragnano. Pastificio Liguori was the first industrial pasta manufacturer to obtain this certification.
Today, Liguori is present in over 40 countries and serves as the leading distributor of *Pasta di Gragnano* PGI.
